Restaurant Owners Who Follow this Advice Are Most Successful

All too often restaurant owners operate their businesses on an island. While there is a whole world out there of innovation, best practices and support, restaurant owners often find themselves feeling alone, isolated and the only one who suffers from the constant challenges. That’s the life of a typical restaurant owner. In this episode of Restaurant Prosperity Formula podcast, I cover what you need to do to build a strong restaurant management team that frees you from the daily grind of running your restaurant so you can lead it.

When restaurant owners learn how to build and trust a management team, it can be life changing because you are no longer alone, you no longer have to worry about all the tasks that need to be done on a daily basis. This frees you up to focus on your business as the leader, think strategically, interpret your numbers and proactively run your business.

But here’s the reality, you don’t just snap your fingers and poof, you have a strong management team. It takes time, patience, systems and real work. A big part of it all is setting your managers up for success.

Tune into this podcast episode to learn Here are the five things you must do to create a restaurant management team or strengthen the one you have. Listen to this podcast episode (or watch it) to get the details.

  1. Allow your management candidates to identify themselves.
  2. Have a system, a process, a way of doing everything in your restaurant.
  3. Establish a thorough and effective training program.
  4. Learn how to give your managers the authority to do their jobs so you don’t have to be there.
  5. Hold them accountable, or as I like to say, answerable.

This is the exact advice and training I give to the members of my Restaurant Transformation Intensive to help them achieve restaurant prosperity, which is freedom from your restaurant and the financial freedom you deserve.

When you build this high-performance management team, you will no longer be alone, you’ll have a team of people to complete the daily tasks of running your restaurant, you’ll have people there to ensure your process are working when, but especially when you are not there, and you will be able to work strategically on your business ensuring you will be around for many years to come.

Now is the time to cultivate your management team.
